Sister Poetry

You know, God, reflecting on being immersed
in living waters should be a no-brainer for us.
That’s how we all started – immersed in the life-giving
waters of our mother’s wombs.

Returning to that image,
reflecting on the care with which
we were received and tended,
demands we step deeper and deeper
into the waters of tending Creation.

Will we?
