Sisters & Seekers is based on a national program called Nuns & Nones. Our purpose is to come together as women from diverse spiritual backgrounds and belief systems to reflect on the deeper meaning and spiritual questions of our lives in a world that is chaotic, polarized, and fear-driven.

Sisters & Seekers gatherings follow these guiding principles:

• Create safe places for relationship, dialogue, inquiry, and spiritual practice that can inform personal social action.
• Welcome mutual learning and pluralistic thought- not persuasion of belief
• Aim to root oneself in a personal spiritual foundation that can bring forth a more just and loving world, no longer dependent on systems of extraction and oppression.
• At best, grows into a supportive, welcoming and committed community
• Led by a Guiding Committee composed of two capable Sisters and two Seekers

Join us for an event to watch The Letter, a documentary film about how our spiritual values call us to take action on the planetary emergency. We are called to hear both the cry of Earth and the cry of the poor. 

On September 13 at 11:30 a.m. in Holy Family Hall, we will watch and discuss the film to consider how we can take action. Season of Creation 2026 begins on September 1 and invites us to move from hope to action. Hope is not passive; it is lived and shared through daily choices, community life, prayer, and concrete acts of care. Ecological
conversion grows step by step—through relationships restored, creation protected, and communities strengthened. The next chapter of Laudato Si’ begins with us, wherever we are.

All are welcome. No RSVPs required.

Join the Sisters of St. Agnes for contemplative prayer on one Sunday each month from 4-5 p.m in the CSA Chapel (320 County Rd K, Fond du Lac, WI 54937).

The prayer time begins and ends with a prayer. Silence is maintained in the interim to allow for personal prayers. This prayer is for our country, for peace in the world, and for family and friends.

Join us for your special needs and graces. All are welcome to participate for the hour or a portion of it.

On Thursday, September 17, Sister Dianne Bergant, CSA, will talk about unity and diversity from a theological perspective. 

The event will take place at the Prairie Theater and Event Center (400 University Avenue, Fond du Lac, WI). Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with remarks beginning at 6 p.m. The audience is invited to engage with the speaker via a Q&A segment after remarks and again informally during a reception in The Winnebago Room with heavy hors d’oeuvres. During the reception, two tables will be available for optional participation in facilitated discussion between attendees.  

This event is the second in a three-part series on the theme “To Form A More Perfect Union:  Division and Unity in the USA at 250” presented by the Congregation of Sisters of St. Agnes.

Speakers will explore the enduring principles of the U.S. Constitution and their relevance to today’s challenges. From the roots of representative democracy to the evolving meaning of liberty and justice, each of the three lectures will aim to deepen public understanding and inspire constructive engagement. Faith in Place’s 2026 Annual Environment & Spirituality Summit will be taking place on September 28-29. Environmental leaders, change makers and founders will come together for two days of intentional conversation. Climate leader Bill McKibben will deliver a keynote drawing on decades of organizing, writing, and movement-building to ground the Summit’s theme of Grounded Resistance in the moral and spiritual stakes of the climate crisis. He will invite Houses of Worship and communities to harness the power of organized people of faith to confront the fossil fuel industry and advance climate and environmental justice. Bill is an author, educator, and environmentalist who helped found 350.org, the first global grassroots climate campaign, and who has recently helped found Third Act, to build a progressive organizing movement for people over the age of 60.

Internationally renowned public theologian and psychoanalyst Dr. Matthias Beier will explore how grounded, trust-based faith can become a source of resilience, courage, and meaningful resistance.⁠ In "Paradise is Now: Reclaiming Healthy, Grounded Faith in an Age of Divisive Fear," Dr. Beier invites us to imagine a spiritual life rooted not in fear, but in connection, hope, and collective flourishing.⁠

Valarie Kaur will share her powerful framework of Revolutionary Love at our Annual Environment & Spirituality Summit. ⁠Through story, ancestral wisdom, and practices from her book "See No Stranger," Valarie will help us see how being rooted in wonder, grief, and rage can anchor multi-faith movements for climate justice. ⁠We will leave with concrete tools to practice revolutionary love, for ourselves, and for one another, as we cultivate grounded, long-haul resistance for the sake of our communities and the Earth.⁠

Mary Evelyn Tucker will lead “Grounded in Earth’s Story: Mary Evelyn Tucker on Religion, Ecology, and Resistance.”⁠ Drawing from decades of work at the intersection of religion, ecology, and environmental justice, Tucker will explore how faith traditions across the world can help us reimagine our relationship with the living Earth — and inspire action rooted in care, justice, and collective transformation.⁠ Together, we’ll reflect on what it means to be Grounded Resistance: standing firmly in our values while working toward a more just and flourishing future for all life.⁠

The Mission Integration Committee of Marian University is pleased to present a speakers series focusing on Catholic Social Teaching. Each session will focus on a single theme of Catholic Social Teaching and explore it through the lens of a CSA Corporate Stance and a Marian major. The series will take place from 3-4 p.m. in Marian University's Stayer Auditorium. 

Each session is free and open to the public and will be livestreamed to the CSA Channel on YouTube.
