Sister Poetry

Dear Sister.. your verses cause me to respond.. I think it is true to say
That in Jewish thought the Presence of God as the 'Shekinah' is feminine. God is Spirit..Anthropomorphisms are a challenging concept.. The Jewish Sabbath is welcomed as 'the Sabbath Bride.
In remembrance of creation.. Genesis 1..also a difficult metaphor !
So, God is neither mother or father but the source of the Spirit of mothering and fathering..and the unity of both..God is One. Blessings be presenced to you and your community..warmly.. Chris.
