Patricia was born in Lomira, Wisconsin, on December 17, 1937, the daughter of George Nicholaus Reiser and Genevieve Johannah Seiler Reiser.  Raised on her family farm, Patricia enjoyed doing farm chores with her brother and sister.

Patricia entered St. Agnes Convent in 1951 and earned her high school diploma from St. Agnes High School in 1954.  She made her profession of vows in the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Agnes as Sister Beata on August 15, 1956, in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.

Sister Beata graduated from St. Agnes School of Nursing, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, in 1959 and received her B.S. in Nursing from Marian College, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, in 1961. For fifty-six years, Sister Beata was a devoted nurse with a special heart for the poor, the elderly, and the dying. She continually updated her professional skills to serve more effectively.

Sister served at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin; St. Clare Hospital, Monroe, Wisconsin; The Fond du Lac Community Health Center, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin; and at Nazareth Heights Infirmary, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.  From 1991-2012, Sister Beata was a hospice nurse providing end of life care in several rural Mississippi communities: Hospice of Central Mississippi, Jackson; Whispering Pines Hospice, Jackson; Hospice Ministries, Ridgeland, serving out of its branch office in Forest.

In June of 2012, Sister Beata returned to Fond du Lac to reside at St. Agnes Convent until moving to Nazareth Court and Center in February of 2017. Frail health necessitated her move to St. Francis Home where she was cared for until the time of her death.

Sister Beata was preceded in death by her parents, George and Genevieve Reiser, her brother, George Joseph Reiser, and her brother-in-law, Samuel Paniccia.

Sister is survived by her sister, Rosemary Paniccia, nieces and nephews, and the Sisters of St. Agnes, with whom she lived, prayed, and ministered.
