Sister Patricia (Patti) Robinson died peacefully on November 21, 2022, at Nazareth Center in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Sister Patti’s life journey included being a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and a Sister of St. Agnes.

Patricia Ann was born in Watertown, New York, on April 17, 1949, the first of four children, three daughters and a son, born to James Ralph Campbell and Dolores Colin Campbell.  Patti grew up with her family in Washington, DC, and Annapolis, Maryland. On October 11, 1969, Patti married Jack D. Robinson in Annapolis, Maryland. Together they had two sons, Jeff and Jason, and owned an air-conditioning and appliance business in Garber, Oklahoma. Jack passed away unexpectedly on January 1, 1994.  While raising her sons after their father’s death, Patti earned a BS in Accounting and Finance from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma, in 1996, having at times attended classes with one of her sons. Following graduation, Patti worked as a financial analyst for five years at St. John’s Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma, sponsored by the Sisters of the Sorrowful Mother. As Jeff and Jason became adults and were settled with families of their own, Patti felt a call to live out the rest of her life as a woman religious. She spent some time in the formation program with the Sorrowful Mother Sisters. While attending joint formation programs in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with women from other religious communities, she met the Sisters of St. Agnes and felt drawn to their spirit and mission. She entered St. Agnes Convent in 2003 and made her first profession of vows in the Congregation of Sisters of St. Agnes on July 14, 2006, in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, with her children and grandchildren present.

Sister Patti spent her sixteen years as a Sister of St. Agnes using her financial and administrative skills, along with her heart for the disadvantaged, ministering as the accountant for CORE El Centro, Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, developing the data base for the archives of St. Agnes Hospital,  serving as the administrator and Local Coordinator for the sister residents of Nazareth Court and Center, and volunteering as assistant to the manager of Solutions Center.

In April of 2019, Sister Patti became a resident at Nazareth Court and Center to receive care for her failing health.  Throughout this time, she remained a “sister mom” connecting with her sons and grandchildren while sharing life with her sisters in community until the time of her death.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jack, and her two sisters, Vickie Hogan and Deborah Foxwell.

Sister Patti is survived by her sons, Jeff (Teri) Robinson and Jason (Meghan) Robinson; her grandchildren, Brandon, Jade, Jonah, Eden; her great-grandson, Kayden Robinson; her brother, Jim Campbell, and the Sisters of St. Agnes, with whom she lived, prayed, and ministered.

Visitation for Sister Patti was held November 23, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at Nazareth Court and Center, 375 Gillett Street, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.

A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at 2:00 p.m., November 23, 2022, at St. Francis Home Chapel, 33 Everett Street, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, with Tom Zelinski, OFM Cap., presiding. Cremation took place following the service. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Springs Cemetery, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, at a later date.

Memorials may be directed to the CSA Mission Advancement Office, 320 County Road K, Fond du Lac, WI 54937.

The Sisters of St. Agnes are grateful to the nurses and staff of Nazareth Court and Center and Hospice Hope for their care of Sister Patti.
