Prayer for Discernment
Loving and Generous God, it is You who
call us by name and ask us to follow You,
Through Baptism, You invite me to share
the gift of my life in the service of others.
Open my heart to hear Your call and
give me the energy, vision and courage
to respond in ways that will lead to
serving You and Your people. Be with me
as I choose each day to be Your presence
in our world. I now ask especially for the
grace of Your Spirit to respond to
Your love and to Your call.
