To quote the Catechism of the Catholic Church, " We pray as we live, because we live as we pray." Setting aside time each day for personal prayer opens our hearts to the movement of the Holy Spirit, deepening our awareness of our relationship with God. Quietly meditating upon Scripture or simply sitting in the presence of God opens our hearts to our own deepest desires, and helps us to then open our hearts and minds to the needs of our brothers and sisters in the world.
The videos below are designed to help you reflect during your prayer time and the links to the left offer prayers for specific rumination.
