The Leo House Celebrates 130 Years

On Monday, December 9, 2019, The Leo House celebrated 130 years of operation. 

The event, held at The Yale Club in New York, honored Mother Dolores Hart, O.S.B., The Abbey of Regina Laudis with the Pope Leo XIII Award, John Allen, Jr., Founder of CRUX with the St. Raphael Society Award, and Patricia Scanlon, Catholic New York with Mission Partner Award.

Monsignor Kevin Sullivan, Director of Catholic Charities New York, offered the Keynote speech for the evening. 

In collaboration with devoted laity, the Sisters of St. Agnes have served as managers and ministers of Christian hospitality at The Leo House since its founding in 1889. Numerous sisters and associates were in attendance at the Gala.
