The mission of the Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation ministry is to explore CSA's distinct contribution to the ongoing, nonviolent transformation of the world towards peace, justice and ecology. This work embraces the efforts of sisters, associates, co-workers and others who share the CSA vision. We live out the mission to bring about systemic change by using the lens of nonviolence to focus on the issues of women, children, health care, globalization (especially as it affects Latin America), seamless ethic of life.

Sometimes I feel overwhelmed by all the social justice issues clamoring for my attention via invites to webinars and conferences, requests to be a signatory to a letter or a petition, and always, the ask for donations. I have to remind myself that "I am a worker, not the master builder; a minister, not the messiah." (Bishop Ken Untner). Today I offer you a variety of topics. I suggest that you choose one or two to explore. Some require a brief amount of your time, others a greater amount.

Asylum Virtual Advocacy Days (July 14-16)
Join Asylum Working Group (AWG) and the Interfaith Immigration Coalition (IIC) for virtual advocacy days from Tuesday, July 14 - Thursday, July 16 to demand that Congress defund the administration’s harmful anti-asylum policies and restore asylum protections.
