The Work of Christmas

You most likely have read this piece written by Howard Thurman, but each time I read it the message challenges me. I offer it for your reflection.

When the song of the angels is stilled,
When the star in the sky is gone,

When the kings and princes are home,
When the shepherds are back with their flock,
The work of Christmas begins:
To find the lost,
To heal the broken,
To feed the hungry,
To release the parishioner,
To rebuild the nations,
To bring peace among all,
To make music in the heart.

Ending Human Trafficking

The Stop Trafficking Newsletter for January can be found HERE. The focus is on climate change as one of the causes of poverty and forced migration that leads to human trafficking.
