Pray for Peaceful & Just Elections

September 01, 2020
By Sister Ruth Battaglia, CSA

We The People

We invite you share in a simple five minutes of individual contemplative silence at whatever time you choose each Tuesday leading up to election day.

Want to take another action for peaceful and just elections? Each week, we’ll provide an action item - some will be much easier to do than others - participate in the actions as you are able.

We Pray

“It is the responsibility of the State to safeguard and promote the common good of society.”
— Pope Francis

Volunteer for Election Work

Help on election days by registering with your local clerk to be an election official, registration official, or greeter. (Search for your Wisconsin municipal clerk here: https://myvote.wi.gov/en-US/MyMunicipalClerk). There may be some tasks that you can do prior to election day, if you cannot assist on election day.
