Who Are the Associates
Associates and sisters, acknowledge a common call in baptism to live Gospel values. We expand this baptismal call in our mutual relationship with the Congregation of Sisters of St. Agnes as we:
  • live the charism and mission of the congregation in our personal lives and in our work and ministry
  • gather to deepen our spiritual life, support one another and respond to the needs of the Church and world as partners with the congregation
  • are active in the pursuit of personal growth
  • are conscious of our unique role and responsibility as public witnesses to the principles and values of the Gospel and the congregation
  • believe in the diginity and the giftedness of all people
  • are women and men who are from a variety of Christian faith traditions and
  • are financially and legally independent from the congregation.
Ways We Connect

Honoring the diversity and demands of personal and professional lives, associates connect with each other and with the congregation in a variety of ways, including.

  • Gathering with associates and sisters for prayer and faith sharing celebrations
  • Working in CSA sponsored ministries
  • Joining with associates and sisters in various activities and projects that carry forward the mission, such as social justice projects in our local areas
  • Sharing in supportive prayer
  • Serving as mentors, on local planning committees and as coordinators with our associate communities
  • Serving on associate committees and on congregational committees
