CSA Sponsorship Ministry Mission

CSA Sponsorship Ministry serves the Congregation of Sisters of St. Agnes and CSA sponsored ministries as connector.

CSA Sponsorship Ministry:
  • Ensures incarnation of gospel values in the ministries,
  • Ensures responsible stewardship of assts of the church, and
  • Practices and grows a model that intentionally promotes lay leadership in sponsorship.

 

CSA Sponsorship Ministry Vision

CSASM's unique role as connector will be understood and valued by CSASM, CSA, and the sponsored ministries.

A sponsorship model will be in place that intentionally cultivates partnership of laity and religious.  This model, clearly articulated and communicated via dialogic processes, exercises collaborative leadership and authority, utilizes proactive recruitment and orientation/formation processes, and demonstrates diversity.

Chief executives and boards will have established a culture of values in the sponsored ministries.  This culture of values is revealed when the sponsored ministry's core values are aligned with those of CSASM and the gospel.

Commits us to promoting systemic change for the quality of life and to integrating justice, peace, and human dignity in our workplaces and personal lives.

Commits us to affirming the sacredness of each individual, serving the whole person - body, mind, and spirit - through a holistic, Catholic/Christian approach to ministry. 

 Justice

Commits us to actions that liberate the human person, including advocating for the economically poor and furthering the role of women in the workplace, church, and society.

 Community

Commits us to forming Christian community with others in serving the needs of the communities to whom we minister.

 Collaboration

Commits us to developing networks of relationship within the workplace environment, as well as with the other CSA sponsored ministries and the wider community, to influence the delivery of services.
