We commit ourselves to:

  • Rely on God as one's Center for faith, courage, and hope
  • Live the gospel values through 
    • whole-hearted joy 
    • genuine hospitality
    • unassuming simplicity
  • Grow in a deeper love relationship with God through personal and communal prayer and through our vows of celibate chastity, poverty and obedience
  • Strive to be flexible with the ambiguities of life and to adapt to circumstances when needed.
  • Live a simple lifestyle; "Grateful for the goods of the earth, we desire to grow more dependent on God and more generous in sharing." (CSA Constitutions #15)
  • Generously serve God's people ". . . through teaching, healing and related ministries, aware that we, too, are among the needy and are enriched by those we serve." CSA Constitution #2)
  • Share vision, worship, life and love through living with one another in community
  • ". . .make all we do a work of evangelization: proclaiming the good news, forming Christian community, liberating the human person, and contributing to the transformation of human society." (CSA Constitution #50)
